Peter Calo to Perform in 'the Listening Room'

On Friday,
March 7th at 8:00pm, Peter Calo will be performing in ‘the Listening Room’ at
the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park in Crystal Lake, IL. Peter Calo is hailed as a
“master musician” by The Boston Globe as well as a guitarist, producer,
composer, recording artist, and performer. He “stands out as an exceptionally
versatile and accomplished talent on the crowded music scene” (WBZ-TV,

Peter Calo is a true
professional in the music business. He has performed/recorded with many notable
and famous artists, such as: Carly Simon, Natasha Bedingfield, Queen
Latifah, Willie Nelson, Hall and Oates, Linda Eder, Phil Ramone, Jimmy Webb, Kris Kristofferson, Leonard Bernstein, Marc Shaiman, Tony and Grammy award winning “Hairspray”,
Julie Taymor, Lesley Gore, Crash Test Dummies, Joel Grey, The Platters, and
many more. Roger Reupert, House Manager of ‘the Listening Room’, comments on

Calo’s notables
as a musician do not stop there. He has produced many CDs including
Carly Simon’s release “Never Been Gone” and is featured in the documentary “All
You Need Is Klaus”, which is about a legendary artist, bass player, and Beatle friend, Klaus Voorman. Calo
has also released an additional five CDs on his own and is currently recording
a CD to be released this spring. Additionally, Peter has written Jingles for
companies such as, Entenmann’s. Peter
has also played on the films: “The Lorax”, “Across the Universe”, and “Hairspray”.
