Barrington Brew Fest

Regional microbreweries will pour at the eighth annual Barrington Brew Fest. Enjoy live music, tasty food and a bean bag tournament while sampling the best of the brews.

The event will again be held in the Fourth of July tent by the Metra station in downtown Barrington. More than two dozen microbrewers from the Midwest as well as from other parts of the country are expected. Food vendors will include McGonigal’s Pub, Cooper’s of Barrington, Frantonio’s Italian Deli and Ruth’s Chris Steak House. Music will be provided by Second Time Around. The fest will also feature a bean bag tournament and a 50/50 raffle.

All proceeds will benefit the Barrington Area Council on Aging. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 on the day of the event. The ticket price includes a commemorative glass and brew tastings. The first 750 attendees at the gate will also receive a free commemorative t-shirt.
