Master Gardeners at Ela Library

Did your neighbors put a For Sale sign in your front yard because your lawn is looking so desperate?  Is your garden such a disaster that even the deer won’t eat it?

The Master Gardeners of Lake County are holding their Plant Clinics at libraries throughout Lake County during the month of July.  Bring your gardening problems and let them have a hand at helping you turn your lawn into the pride of the neighborhood, and your garden into something your neighbors will envy.

The Master Gardeners will be at the following libraries:

 

  • Thursday, July 18th at Ela Library in Lake Zurich
  • Monday, July 23 at Fremont Library in Mundelein
  • Thursday, July 26th at Warren Newport Library in Gurnee

 

All Plant Clinics are held between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  Please note that if you bring a sample or specimen of your problem, it will help in reaching a diagnosis.

 

The Master Gardeners are volunteers of the University of Illinois Extension’s Master Gardener Program.  The Lake County Master Gardener Unit is located at the University of Illinois Extension, 100 South U.S. Hwy 45, Grayslake, IL 60030.  Master Gardeners are available to help you by phone or in person Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Extension office or by calling (847) 223-8627.
