Conservation@Home Program in Lake Barrington

Barrington Area Conservation Trust helps homeowners improve the environmental quality and wildlife value of their property.

Barrington Area Conservation Trust (BACT) land protection director Lisa Woolford is holding BACT’s first Conservation@Home program of 2013 on Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Lake Barrington Village Hall, 23860 N. Old Barrington Road.

The program will introduce homeowners to ways they can improve the environmental quality and wildlife value of their property.

Pizzo & Associates will host a best practices program focusing on shoreline stabilization and buffer development in March.
