Give it Up for 220: Music Fest Benefit Set for this Weekend

Wool Street Grill and Sports Bar in Barrington is set to host a rockin' music fest this Saturday to benefit the Barrington 220 Educational Foundation.

Wool Street Grill and Sports Bar in Barrington is set to host a rockin’ music fest this Saturday to benefit the Barrington 220 Educational Foundation.  Six local bands with ties to District 220 will be featured in a marathon of music with something for everyone.  Each band contains currently enrolled students in the Barrington School District or musical alum returning to showcase their talents.  Even the District Superintendant, Dr. Tom Leonard, will share his artistry on the piano.

Here are the outstanding musical guests for the evening.

Headliner: Rod Tuffcurls and the Benchpress (ROTC)

Like to sing yourself?  An incredible opportunity to sing with ROTC will be available as a live auction item.   Unique silent auction items will also be available such as lunch with the Superintendant for you and 6 of your friends or a VIP Parking Pass to all the BHS Home Football Games.  

All proceeds will benefit the Barrington 220 Educational Foundation that helps fund initiatives that cannot be paid for by our tax revenues.  They have done outstanding work through PIE Grants and by providing programming such as Project Lead the Way.  This is a fun way to come out and provide your support to this important organization in our community. 

The event is this Saturday, February 23 at 5 p.m. at Wool Street Grill and Sports Bar located at 128 Wool Street in Barrington.  .  From 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., the all ages show is $10 per person and $30 per family.  Admission goes up to $25 per person after 7 p.m. and only those ages 21 and over will be admitted after 8 p.m.
