South Barrington Woman’s Artistic Awakening
Artist shares work for Patch photo gallery.
Lynn Rushing woke up one day and decided she wanted to take some art classes.
Six years later, her South Barrington home and garden are filled with beautiful pieces she has created.
“I love doing it,” said the former realtor. “I love my art.”
Rushing started taking classes at Harper College in Palatine. One of her pieces, a bronze sculpture that sits in her backyard, took two years of class time to create.
