Fashion's Night Out is an after-hours shopping extravaganza taking place globally, one night only - September 8th, 2011. Started by Vouge magazine in 2009 in New York City, this night is designed to get shoppers out and into the stores to shop and celebrate fashion. All on one special night from Milan to New York, Atlanta to Miami, and Australia to LA, celebrities, designers, and stars will mingle with shoppers in exclusive FNO events. 

Mia Sorella is honored to host one such event right here in downtown Barrington.  We are joining with Park Avenue Wine Bar and SweetPea Cakes to bring you our own night of fabulous fashion, wine tasting, and some great desserts. But on September 8th,  we don't just want to celebrate fashion. We want to also support an important cause that affects many in our community - Juvenile Diabetes.

The event starts at 6:00 PM and runs until 9:00 PM at Mia Sorella (104 S. Cook Street, Barrington, IL). Park Avenue Wine Bar will be there for some fantastic wine tasting along with SweetPea Cakes and their amazing sweets. Mia Sorella will donate 25% of all sales this night to JDRF. Park Avenue Wine Bar will also run a pre-sale on their wine and donate 25% of these sales also to JDRF. Our donation to JDRF will help support Ricky's Ramblers. Ricky, a Barrington resident, was diagnosed with with Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 4. Each year Ricky, along with his family, participates in the JDRF Ron Santo Walk to Cure Diabetes event. For the fifth year in a row, Ricky's Ramblers will walk to help raise funds for diabetes research.  Let's join in supporting them as Ricky battles this disease daily.
