Don’t have exotic Memorial Day plans this weekend?  Perfect!  The world of art has come to town.  This Saturday and Sunday, the streets of downtown Barrington will be transformed into a cultural experience in ceramics, fiber, watercolors, and photography.  The Barrington Art Festival is back for another round of perusing, profounding, and purchasing from 10 AM-5 PM on both Saturday and Sunday.

Come stroll the downtown streets and enjoy the result of the creative juices from over 140 artists from around the world. While you are here, come enjoy one of our favorite art mediums:  jewelry!  This weekend, Mia Sorella, is highlighting wearable art at it’s finest:  the MESH necklace collection.

It was love at first sight when we found these masterpieces designed to bring joy to any neckline.   The ladies at MESH “reclaim the ordinary and make it extraordinary” as they say.  They have become expert scavengers, finding the most unique beads and antique chandelier pieces and vintage keys and…..you name it!  to produce a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.
