Obituary: Jane Helen Bottomley

The Mass of Christian Burial for Jane Helen Bottomley (nee Wenz), 64, of Port Barrington, will be celebrated at 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, at St. Anne Church, 120 N. Ela St. (not Ela Road), Barrington, where there will be visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of Mass.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, OH, where there will be a committal service at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 26.

There will also be a visitation from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 25, at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd., West Chester, OH.

Born September 19, 1949, in Cincinnati to the late Wilson and Helen (nee Schmidt) Wenz, she passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013, at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Jim, whom she married April 6, 1990, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Inverness; children, Melissa (Dean) Gillespie of Oceanside, CA, Julie (Matt) Richardson of Janesville, WI, Erin (Marcus) Jenkins of Aurora, IL, and Michael Bottomley of Jasper, TX; grandchildren, Connor and Aidan Gillespie, Joe and Tatum Richardson, and Maya Jenkins; and brother, Greg (Bev) Wenz of Hamilton, OH.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bottomley was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Gerth.
