Obituary: Nicholas Wardrip, 16

The Barrington High School student passed away unexpectedly last week.

, April 12, 2013.

He was born January 5, 1997 in Barrington to Russell and Camille Wardrip. 

Nicholas was a sophomore honor student at Barrington High School. He was a Life Boy Scout with Troop 21 of Barrington, where he was working towards his Eagle Scout award. He enjoyed playing his bass, video games, Boy Scout outings, camping and music. Nicholas will always be remembered as a loving, and caring son and friend with an ironic sense of humor, who made the world a better place to those who knew him. 

Nicholas is survived by his loving parents, a brother, Kristopher; sister, Brianne Wardrip; maternal grandfather, Jack Yinger; grandparents, James and Doris Mulvihill; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elverton and Beverly Wardrip; maternal grandmother, Marcia Yinger, and aunt, Kim Fierro. 

Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 p.m until the time of the mass at 7 p.m., at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street,(corner of Franklin and Ela Sts.) Barrington. Interment will be private.
