She was born on March 12, 1929, to George and Elsbeth Urban, in Chicago.

Ruth is survived by her husband Franklin Loucks Jr.; daughters, Lisa Loucks and Heather (Brad Sasser) Loucks; granddaughters, Allegra and Zoe Sasser.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial visitation will be held from 10:30 until time of service at 1 p.m., Saturday, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd), Barrington.
Burial will be held privately.
