Arlington Heights Man Sentenced for Sixth DUI

An Arlington Heights man was sentenced to six years in prison Thursday after he entered a guilty plea for his sixth driving under the influence charge, according to the Daily Herald. 

Police said Dimitar Nikolov, who is from Bulgaria, has used multiple aliases during past arrests and used the name Georgi Grigorov when he was most recently pulled over on Sept. 28, according to the article. Police said he was arrested after an officer noticed Niklov had glassy and bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and noticed the strong smell of alcohol.
