Barrington Honor Guard Presents Colors at Cubs Opener

Catch the Barrington Fire Department Honor Guard in action this afternoon

The has an honor guard that’s been in place for almost two years. The uniforms, equipment and training have all been funded by the Barrington Foreign Fire Tax Board. The honor guard members also donate their time for training and practice. No village tax dollars have been used to support the BFD Honor Guard.

Today, April 5, our honor guard will be presenting the colors at the Chicago Cubs opening day game, which starts at 1:20 p.m. The fire department is confident that the BFD honor guard will represent Barrington in a very professional and dignified manner.

Catch the honor guard in action on WGN-TV, Channel 9.
