Barrington Police Blotter: Battery, Drug Paraphernalia, DUI

The Barrington Police Department blotter through Jan. 17.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Barrington Police Department. Readers are reminded that a charge or an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Domestic Battery
Eric B. Sears, 26, of the 200 block of Hillside Ave., Barrington, was arrested Jan. 18 for domestic battery. He was taken to Cook County bond call.

Drug Paraphernalia
Constantine N. Dasakis, 18, of 5000 block of Shotkoski, Hoffman Estates, was arrested Jan. 17 for possession of drug paraphernalia at 400 N. Northwest Highway. He was released on bond and given a Lake County court date of Feb. 20 at 8:45 a.m.

DUI

Michael T. Coffey, 51, of Hickory Rd., Oakwood Hills, was arrested Jan. 14 for DUI, BAC over .08 and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at Route 14 and 20th Street. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 10 at 9 a.m.

Suspended License
William J. Veasey Jr., 33, of the 9000 block of Falcon Greens Dr., Lakewood, was arrested Jan. 16 for driving with a suspended license and speeding at Route 14 and Berry Road. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 25 at 9 a.m.

Other Incidents

A purse was reported missing Jan. 14 from a vehicle parked in the area of Cook Street and Station Street.

A license plate was reported missing Jan. 13 from the Barrington Metra station parking lot at 201 Spring St.
