The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Barrington Police Department. Readers are reminded that a charge or arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Drugs

  • Courtney C. Raupp, 23, of 145 Courtney Ln., Cary, was issued a ticket Dec. 12 for possession of cannabis at Route 59 and Barrington Road. She was released and given an adjudication hearing date of Jan. 16 at 4 p.m.

Other Reports
  • Police responded to Egg Harbor Café, 210 South Cook St. on Dec. 28 for an unwanted subject.
  • Police took a theft report Dec. 27 at the Shell gas station, 106 North Northwest Highway.
  • A theft report was taken Dec. 23 at the Barrington Library, 505 North Northwest Highway.
  • An abandoned vehicle report was taken Dec. 23 at 402 North Hough St.
  • Police took a lost property report Dec. 22 at the Shell gas station, 106 North Northwest Highway.
  • A battery report was taken Dec. 21 at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St.
  • A damage to property report was taken Dec. 11 at the Metra train depot, 201 S. Spring St.
  • A 16 year old male and 17 year old male, both from Carpentersville, were charged Dec. 9 with theft at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St.
