Barrington Police Blotter: Traffic Arrests, Harassment, Stolen Identity

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Barrington Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

No Valid License
Julio Cuesta‐Sanchez, 23, of 1900 block of Hastings, Hoffman Estates, was arrested Jan. 26 for no valid driver’s license and improper parking at Ela Road and Route 14. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 10 at 9 a.m.

Suspended License
Antonio Cancino‐Paredes, 26,  of the 300  block  of  Broadway, Palatine, was arrested Jan. 21 for driving while license suspended at Russell and Hough streets. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 10 at 9 a.m.

Other Incidents

Police responded Jan. 25 to the 100 block of South Hager Avenue for a domestic dispute.

A parked vehicle was towed Jan 25 in the 100 block of East Main Street for snow removal.

Police took a report Jan. 24 for harassment from an employee of Alden Estates of Barrington, 1420 S. Barrington Rd.

An Illinois driver’s license was reported lost Jan 24 somewhere in the Village of Barrington.

A lost passport was reported Jan. 23 by a resident of the 400 block of Fox Glove Lane.

A resident of the 100 block of Fox Hunt Trail reported Jan. 23 receiving a red light camera violation for the temporary license plates they had previously discarded.

Police took a theft report Jan. 23 at the Barrington Animal Hospital, 216 S. Northwest Highway, for missing medication.

An unattended vehicle was towed Jan. 23 from the area of Concord Lane and Bristol Drive after sliding off the roadway.

Police took a theft report Jan. 22 from a resident of the 300 block of Martin Court when checks and house keys were taken from a vehicle at a different location.

A resident of the 900 block of Bosworthfield Road reported Jan 21 their Facebook account was hacked.

The owner of Cooper’s Pizza, 117 South Hough Street, reported damage to a wooden table on Jan. 21.

A resident of the 400 block of June Terrace reported Jan. 20 someone used their identity to open two cell phone accounts.
