Barrington Police: DUI Arrests, Traffic Violations

Police release reports from the week of Sept. 2.

Note: The following information was obtained from the Barrington Police Department. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Laura L. Sagehorn, 23, of 632 Signal Hill Road, Barrington, was arrested for driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level over .08, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance and driving without headlights, police said. She was arrested on Aug. 29 at Route 59 and Main St. Sagehorn was was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of October 10.

Donald A. Olson, 50, of 2203 Hazelwood Drive, McHenry, was arrested for driving under the influence, failure to yield to emergency vehicle and improper lane usage, police said. Olson was stopped at Northwest Highway and Ela Road on Aug. 31, reports stated. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of September 27.

Christopher E. Harris, 53, of 105 Palisades Lane, Oakwood Hills, was arrested for driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level of .08, disobeying a traffic signal, no insurance and expired registration, police reports stated. Harris was stopped at Route 14 and Eastern Avenue on Sept. 1. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of September 27.

A wallet and cellular phone was reported lost by a resident of the 500 block of Shorely Drive on Sept. 3, police said.

Julie A. McPike, 51, of 287 Beverly Rd., Barrington, was arrested for driving while license revoked, no front plate and no insurance at Cook Street and Franklin Street on Sept. 5. McPike was released on bond and given a Lake County court date of September 26.

Jacob M. Wicklund, 34, of 790 LaFox St., South Elgin, IL was arrested for driving on a suspended license, no insurance and expired registration at Skyline Drive and Dundee Avenue on Sept. 6, police said. Wicklund was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of October 18.
