Barrington Police: DUI, Cannabis Citations, Thefts

Police reports from October 10-18.

Trevares Collins, 26, of 115 E. Lincoln Ave., Barrington, was arrested October 10 for driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol over .08, possession of cannabis, no insurance, disobeying a traffic control light and failure to notify the Secretary of State for change of address, police said. Collins was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of October 31.

Kaitlyn Appelhans, 22, of 570 Greenview Lane, Wheeling was cited with possession of cannabis at 511 Lake Zurich Road on October 10, police reports stated. Appelhans was released and given hearing date of October 24.

Danielle E. Gordon, 20 of 15 N. Dryden Place Arlington Heights, was charged with possession of cannabis at Route 14 and Ela Road on October 14, police said. Gordon was released and given a Cook County court date of November 14.

Several items were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Kainer Avenue on October 16, according to reports.

Money was taken from an employee’s purse at 718 West Northwest Highway on October 18, police said.

Jewelry was reported missing at a residence on October 18, following interior renovations, according to police.

A wallet was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of South Hager Avenue on October 18, police said.
