Barrington Police: Tower Lakes Woman Faces Drug Charges

Note: The following information was obtained from the Barrington police department. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

• Jessica Wasikowski, 23, of 415 E. Oakwood Drive, Tower Lakes, was arrested for possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence-drugs on July 18, according to police reports.

• Michael A. Nichols, 19, of 468 Russell St., Barrington, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor at 230 Elm Road on July 13, police said. Nichols was released and given a hearing date.

• A 16-year-old boy from Barrington was charged with a curfew violation and criminal damage to property at 200 E. Main St. on July 13, police said.  The teen was released hearing date of Aug. 15.

• Daniel N. Kalcsics, 23, of 1609 Eddy Lane, Lake Zurich, was arrested for obstructing a peace officer at 106 N. Northwest Highway on July 14, reports stated. The subject was released on bond and given a Lake County court date of Aug. 7.

• Ashley M. Fredericks, 25, of 1406 Tuckahoe Park Drive, Valpraiso, Ind., was arrested for driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content over .08, speeding and improper lane usage on July 15, police said. Fredericks was stopped at Route 59 and Providence Rd. She was released on bond with a Cook County court date of Aug. 26.

• Michael D. Deroche, 18, of 34 Otis Road, Barrington Hills, was arrested for driving under influence, obstructing/resisting a police officer, consumption of alcohol by a minor, disobeying a stop sign, failure to yield at intersection, speeding, failure to exercise due care, no driver’s license on person and no insurance on July 13, police said. Deroche was arrested after being involved in an accident at Main and Harrison Streets. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Aug. 13 at 9 a.m.

• Someone took a GPS from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 200 block of Bellingham Drive, reports stated. The theft occurred between July 10 and 11.

• Diego A. Chavez, 25, of 1341 Fountain Green Drive, Crystal Lake, was arrested for driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content over .08, no valid driver’s license and no insurance on July 10, police said. Chavez was stopped at Route 14 and Hart Road. He was released on bond and given a Lake County court date of July 29.
