Barrington Woman Found with Heroin After Crashing SUV in Chicago

Julie McPike, who was charged in the summer of 2011 with hosting an underage drinking party at her Barrington home, was arrested in Chicago Nov. 4 after hitting a parked car while high on heroin, reported the Chicago Tribune.

A Barrington woman was found to be in possession of 16 foil packets of heroin after crashing her SUV into a parked car in Chicago at about 12:20 a.m. on Nov. 4, reported the Chicago Tribune.

Julie McPike, 51, of 287 Beverly Rd., Barrington, was charged with possession of heroin, aggravated DUI, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving on a revoked license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and driving on a sidewalk, reported the Chicago Tribune.

McPike was charged in July 2011 with hosting an underage drinking party after her teen daughter threw a keg party that brought about 30 cars to the home, according to the Huffington Post.

Patch records show McPike was charged March 29, 2013, with having a vicious dog and charged May 7, 2013, with dog at large and permitting a dog to snap/growl/ jump on victim on public roadway.
