Battery, Fake $50 Bills, Stolen Spare Tires: Police Blotter

These incidents were among the official reports of the Barrington Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

 

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Donnell Bowles, 18, of 362 Eastern Ave. Barrington, was charged with disorderly conduct, under the influence of drugs in public at 616 W. Main St., Feb. 11.  He was released and given a Cook County court date of March 27, at 9 a.m.

BATTERY

A 17-year-old male from Hoffman Estates was charged with battery at 616 W. Main St., Feb. 11.  He was released and given a Cook County court date of March 27, at 9 a.m.

On Feb. 14,  a battery report was taken at the scene of an accident following a verbal argument at 40 E. Dundee Rd.

 SPARE TIRES STOLEN

On Feb. 13, Wickstrom Ford, 600 West Northwest Highway, reported that 26 spare tires were stolen from underneath their vehicles on or about January 30, 2013. 

THEFT

On Feb. 12, a customer of Dubin Rarities, 200 Applebee Street, reported a rare coin brought in for an appraisal is missing. 

On Feb. 13, the theft of a snow blower was reported at 760 West Main Street. 

COUNTERFEIT MONEY

An assistant manager at the Shell gas station, 106 North Northwest Highway, reported a customer gave a clerk two counterfeit $50 bills, Feb. 12. 

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Unknown person(s) shattered the front door and large front picture window of

Buschauer Designer Photography, 728 South Northwest Highway, Feb. 13. A related vehicle in the lot suffered a shattered and a scratched window.
