Kyle R. Opfer is charged with unlawful delivery of cannabis, unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a McHenry County Sheriff's Office press release.  A $10,000 bond was set in the case.

On May 23, the Intelligence Led Policing Unit pulled over a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer in the area of Silver Lake Road and James Way in Cary at 6:30 p.m., according to the press release.

A Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit arrived on scene and conducted a search of the vehicle.

During the search, police said they found 80 grams of marijuana packaged for resale, cannabis oil, multiple items of drug paraphernalia and packaging materials.
