DUIs, Clogged Toilets and More: Police Blotter

These incidents were among the official reports of the Barrington Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

DUI

Brian E. Kuhns, 54, 24221 W. Marydale, Lake Zurich,  was arrested for DUI, Improper Lane Usage and speeding at Ela Rd. and Route 14, Feb 23. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date on March 14, at 9 a.m.

On Feb. 23, Robert A. Schramm, 10261 Fertile Ridge Rd., Mount Horeb, WI, was arrested for DUI and speeding at Route 59 and Waverly Rd.  He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of March 14, at 9 a.m.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

On Feb. 18, Francisco Rafael‐Rodriguez, age 38, of 4600 Parkview Drive, McCullom Lake,  was arrested for driving on a suspended license, failure to reduce speed and disregarding a traffic control signal after before involved in an accident at Main St. and Route 59. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of April 3.

EXPIRED LICENSE

Tomasz Tomczyk, 31, of 503 Peach Tree Ct., Crystal Lake, was arrested for expired driver’s license, expired registration and failure to notify secretary of state of address change at W. Main St. and Hough St. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of April 4.

THEFT ARREST

A 17 yr. old male from Barrington was charged with theft at 150 W. Main St., on Feb. 22. He was released and given an adjudication hearing date of March 21.

THEFT

A theft was reported, Feb. 18, at Fancy Art N.F.P., 113 East Main Street, when $250 was discovered missing from a desk drawer.

An Apple I‐Phone was taken from a locker at Barrington Middle School, 215 Eastern Ave., Feb. 19.

INTENTIONALLY CLOGGED TOILETS

On Feb. 22, the owner of the building at 400 East Main Street reported three restrooms had the toilets intentionally clogged.
