Felony Drug Arrest, DUIs: Barrington Police Blotter

These incidents were among the official reports of the Barrington Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

 

Controlled Substance Possession

Michael A. Evans, age 18, of 100 E. Station St. #316, Barrington, IL was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia at 201 S. Spring St., March 16. He was transported to Cook County bond call.

DUI

Nicholas R. Parrish, age 26, of 940 E. Old Willow Rd. #102, Prospect Heights, was arrested for DUI, BAC over .08, speeding and improper lane usage at Hough St. and Monument Ave., March 17. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of April 3.

Charles Givilancz IV, age 31, of 1080 N. Elma Ave., Elgin, was arrested for DUI, BAC over .08, speeding and driver’s license not on person at Route 14 and Bryant Ave., March 17. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of April 16.

18 Samuel J. Kasprowicz, age 24, of 1608 Eddy Lane, Lake Zurich,  was arrested for DUI, BAC over .08, speeding and improper lane usage at Main St. and Eastern Ave., March 18. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of April 16.

Suspended License

Andrea M. Van Cleave, age 22, of 106 N. Lake Shore Dr., Barrington, was arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license, disobeying a stop sign and improper lane usage at Hough St. and Russell St., March 16. She was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of April 3.

No Valid Driver’s License

Hector Valencia‐Otera, age 27, of 124 Cary St., Cary,  was arrested for no valid driver’s license, following too closely and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle at Route 14 and Main St., March 16. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of April 29.

Theft

A 15-year-old male from Carpentersville was charged with theft under $150 at 616 W. Main St., March 18. The subject was released and given an adjudication hearing date of April 18.

Railroad Trespass

On March 19, four 16-year- old males from Barrington were charged with trespass to railroad right of way at Main Street and Lageschulte Street. Also charged was a 17-year-old female from Lake Barrington and a 16-year-old male from Hoffman Estates. They released and given an adjudications hearing date of April 18.
