BATTERY
Donald A.Nelson, 49, of 943Hawthorne, Elmhurst, was arrested for Battery at 130 Harrison St., Feb. 25 He was released on bond and given a Lake County court date of March 11.

Police met with a resident in the 300 block of Eastern Avenue for the report of a home repair fraud, March 1. The resident owed a balance of $240 but was charged $3095.
IDENTITY THEFT

THEFT
Police took a theft report from a resident in the 400 block of North Valley Road, Feb. 27.
A wallet was reported stolen out of a purse at 201 South Spring Street, Feb. 27.
