House Fire in Deer Park Caused by Dehumidifier

The Lake Zurich Fire Department was called to the incident early Thursday morning.

A Deer Park house fire was caused by a dehumidifier Thursday morning, the Daily Herald reports.

The fire broke out just after 3 a.m. at the home on the 20000 block of Audrey Lane. Officials say a problem with the dehumidifier sparked the blaze, which was tamed by a sprinkler system in the home. When firefighters arrived, they were able to fully contain the fire. No injuries were reported, the newspaper reports.
