Police Blotter: Basement Window Broken, Bicycle Stolen

Reports from the Barrington Police Department.

June 17: Tony Bahary, age 52, of 1110 N. Warwick, Hoffman Estates, IL was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage and no insurance at Barrington Road and Cornell Avenue. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of July 2, 2012 at 9 a.m.

June 19: A vehicle was damaged by brick work at 204 South Cook Street.

June 20: A resident in the 700 block of Oxbow Lane reported that a former acquaintance left unwanted gifts on the back patio. The subject was instructed not to return.

June 20: A metal grate was removed and the basement window broken on a home in the 400 block of East Russell Street.

June 20: A resident of the 800 block of Concord Lane reported identity theft. Person(s) unknown filed a tax return using their social security numbers and child deductions.

June 21: A Canondale mountain bike, valued at $900.00 was taken from the bike rack at the Barrington Library, 505 North Northwest Highway.

June 21: Alberto B. Arrazola, age 42, of 821 Dormy Lane, Barrington Hills, IL was cited for disorderly conduct on school/park property at Barrington High School.  He was given a Cook County court date of July 27, 2012 at 1:30pm.

June 22: Maxwell C. Deevy, age 21, of 26060 W. Scott Rd., Barrington, IL was arrested for DUI, BAC over .08 and improper lane usage at Main Street and Wool Street. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of July 16, 2012 at 9 a.m.
