Police Blotter: Check Stolen From Mailbox and More

May 20: Brian M. Krasner, age 22, of 404 Torrey Pines Way, Vernon Hills, was arrested for aggravated DUI, driving while license revoked, tinted front driver and passenger side windows, improper turn, illegal transportation of alcohol, no insurance, improper lane usage and unlawful possession of controlled substance at Route 14 and Shorely Drive. The subject was taken to Lake County bond call.

May 21: Theft of power washers were reported from two unlocked sheds in the 200 block of South Glendale Avenue.

May 22: Kali E. Clarke, age 19, of 1282 Lexington Ln., Lake Barrington, was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia at 511 Lake Zurich Rd. The subject was released and given a Cook County court date of June 25, 2012 at 1:30 p.m.

May 23: Samuel D. Meigel, age 18, of W. Sturbridge Dr., Hoffman Estates, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor at 227 W. Northwest Hwy. The subject was released and given a Cook County court date of June 25, 2012 at 9 a.m. 

May 23: Alejandro Romero‐Orea, age 27, of 1296 Inverway Lane, Palatine, was arrested for no valid driver’s license and no rear tail lights at Main Street and Eastern Avenue. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of June 12, 2012 at 9 a.m. 

May 24: A check was reported stolen and subsequently cashed, from a mailbox in the 900 block of Hampstead Court.

May 24: Ricardo Rocha‐Castro, age 20, of 1202 E. Woodbury Lane #1B, Palatine, was arrested for no valid driver’s license and improper passing at Main Street and Eastern Avenue. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of June 12, 2012 at 9 a.m. 

May 24: A power washer and tools were reported stolen from an open garage in the 400 block of Drury Lane.

May 24: Troy M. Kozie, age 18, of 222 Old Barn Road, Lake Barrington, was arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor, speeding, disobey traffic control device and illegal transportation of alcohol at Hillside Rd. and Summit St. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of June 12, 2012 at 9 a.m. 

May 25: A front dealer license plate was reported missing at Marquardt Buick, 1421 South Barrington Road. 

May 26: A leaf blower was taken from the bed of a pickup truck while parked in the Jewel parking lot at 150 West Main Street.

May 26: Alberto Cuautle‐Flores, age 33, of 2402 Algonquin Rd. #15, Rolling Meadows, was arrested for no valid driver’s license after being involved in an accident at 600 W. Route 14. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of July 2, 2012 at 9 a.m.
