Police Blotter: Citizen Witnesses Battery Between Mother and Daughter

Possession of Cannabis

Lake Barrington resident Stephen Stone, 18, was arrested for possession of cannabis on April 29. His court date is scheduled for June 3.

A 15-year-old Barrington High School boy from Hoffman Estates was arrested for possession of cannabis at the high school on April 29. His court date is June 3.

Madeline M. Dufour, 18, of the 100 block of Palm Drive, was arrested for possession of cannabis on April 30. Dufour is scheduled to appear in court on May 20.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor

A 17-year-old boy from North Barrington, a 16-year-old boy from Barrington Hills and a 17-year-old boy from Barrington were arrested for consumption of alcohol by a minor on April 30. The incident happened in The Foundry at 710 W. Northwest Highway. The teens are scheduled to appear in court on June 3.

Disorderly Conduct

Cedrick Canada, 22, of Chicago, was arrested for Disorderly conduct on May 1. He will appear in court on June 10.

Driving Under the Influence of Drugs

Pawel Darlak, 19, of Barrington Hills, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane usage, no insurance and obstructed windshield. The incident happened on April 30 at Barrington Road and Route 59. His court date is set for June 3.

Battery

A bystander reported witnessing a battery between a mother and daughter on West Main Street east of Hart Road on May 2. The person told police she saw the driver of a vehicle hitting her daughter on the grass, then forced her into the car and drove away. The witness did not remember the license plate number of the vehicle. No charges have been filed regarding the incident.

Criminal Damage to Property

A vehicle parked at Barrington High School was reportedly keyed on May 2.

Damage to Property

A basement window of a home on the 300 block of Dundee Avenue was broken, allowing someone to get into the basement. Police reports said nothing was taken from the home.

The gas tank door of a car was reported to be missing from the vehicle after using the car wash at Citgo Gas Station, 205 North Northwest Highway.
