Police Blotter: Driver Impersonates Police Officer

Driving offenses and more from the Barrington Police Department.

Aug. 25: Christopher A. Brady, age 32, of East Lake Shore Drive, Lake Barrington,  was arrested for aggravated felony DUI, driving while license revoked, no insurance, improper lane usage and improper turn from intersection at Lake Cook Rd. and Valley Rd. The subject was taken to Lake County bond call and given a $25,000 bond.

Aug. 26: Joseph A. Nealey, age 45, of Dunrovin Road, Barrington Hills, was arrested for DUI, and two counts of failure to signal at Franklin Street and Hough Street. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of September 19, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Aug. 27: Minh Hieu Lam, age 19, of W Coyle Avenue, Chicago, was arrested for driving on a revoked driver’s license, improper lane usage and possession of a revoked driver’s license at Barrington Rd. and Cornell Ave. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of September 19, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Sept. 2: Police responded to a report of driver impersonating a police officer, in the area of Main Street and Route 14, by attempting to pull over a vehicle using blue and red lights located in the rear window of a maroon Ford Crown Victoria.
