Police Blotter: Drug Arrest, Men Enter Unlocked Home

Reports from the Barrington Police Department.

July 14: Gabriel Szwec, age 33, of 1136 N. Greenwood Ave., Park Ridge, was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia at Route 14 and Ela Road.  The subject was released and given a Cook County court date of Aug. 16, 2012 at 9 a.m.

July 14: Matthew J. Sundstrom, age 43, of 1760 Robincrest Lane, Glenview, was arrested for DUI, BAC over .08, improper lane usage, improper turn and no insurance at Main Street and Wesley Street. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Aug. 16, 2012 at 9 a.m.

July 14: Neall A W Stegeman, age 23, of 692 Laurel Ave., Wauconda, was arrested for DUI, BAC over .08 and improper lane usage at Route 59 and James Street. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Aug.16, 2012 at 9 a.m.

July 15: A purse was found near the Arlington Race Course, in Arlington Heights then turned in to the Barrington Police Department.A message was left for the owner to retrieve it.

July 18: An iPhone was reported stolen from somewhere near the Metra train station, located at 201 Spring Street. The theft occurred on Saturday, July 14, 2012.

July 16: An unlocked residence in the 100 block of Harrison Street was entered in the early morning hours, by two male subjects who left the area when confronted by a neighbor.

July 19: Francisco J. Hernandez-Monroy, age 31, of 1527 Winslowe Dr. #1B, Palatine, was charged with no valid driver’s license and improper lane usage at Main Street and Eastern Avenue. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Aug. 16 at 9 a.m.

July 20: A vehicle drove off without paying $35.07 for gas at the Circle K Shell gas station, 106 North Northwest Highway.

July 22: All four tires and rims were stolen off a vehicle in the parking lot at 206 North Cook Street.
