Police Blotter: DUI Arrests, Stolen Property

Reports from the Barrington Police Department.

Damaged Property:

A fence was reported damaged by the snow plow in the 200 block of Lageschulte Street.

Kelly A. Kroepfl, 29, of Volo, was arrested on March 2 for DUI and speeding at Route 59 and Russell Street. She was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of April 12.

Christopher R. Bluse, 29, of the 200 block of Hillside Avenue, was arrested March 8 and charged with DUI, too fast for conditions, improper lane usage, failure to leave information and no insurance after being involved in an accident at his home. The incident took place on March 8. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of April 12.

Harold L. Henry, 51, of Fox River Grove, was arrested on March 10 for DUI, improper lane usage, disobeying traffic control device and improper turn at Route 14 and Hough Street. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of April 26.

Theft:

A 17-year-old Carpentersville boy was charged with theft at Barrington High School on March 5. He was released and given a Cook County court date of April 12.

Criminal Damage to Property:

Christopher M. Grubner, 23, of the 700 block of Prairie Avenue, was arrested on March 5 for criminal damage to property at 150 W. Main Street. He was released and given a Cook County court date of March 30.

Stolen Property:

A flashlight, razor and bottle of vitamins were reported stolen from a duffel bag that was left unattended at the Barrington Metra station, 201 Spring Street.

A backpack and iPhone were reported stolen by a student at Barrington High School on March 8.
