Police Blotter: DUI, Speeding 40-Plus MPH Over Limit

BURGLARY

On Jan. 21, police took a Residential Burglary report in the 200 block of West Lincoln Avenue.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Police responded to a Criminal Damage to property in the 500 block of Shorely Drive, Jan. 21, when a lock on a garage door was damaged.

DUI

Lisa L. Wilson, 45, of 24530 Hummingbird Ct., Deer Park, was arrested for DUI, BAC over .08 and failure to reduce speed after being involved in an accident at Route 14 and Main St., Jan. 24. She was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 21.

SPEEDING 40-PLUS OVER LIMIT

Anthony Barrett IV, 19, of 1169 N. Arbor Lane, Palatine, was arrested for speeding more than 40 over the posted limit and no insurance at Main St. and Cold Spring Rd., Jan. 25. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of March 14.

FRAUDULENT CHECKS

On Jan. 25, Motor Werks of Barrington, 1475 South Barrington Road, reported two fraudulent checks were deposited into accounts of person(s) unknown.

THEFT

A bottle of vodka was taken from CVS, 101 South Northwest Highway, Jan. 26.

TOO MUCH MEDICATION

Police responded to the 500 block of North Hough Street for someone who intentionally took too much medication, Jan. 26.
