Police Blotter: DUIs and Traffic Arrests

These incidents were among the official reports of the Barrington Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

DUI

Joanne Cierniewski, 33, of 6204 Kilkenny Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested for DUI, BAC over .08, driving while license suspended, improper lane usage and illegal use of driver’s license at Route 14 and Lake Zurich Rd., Jan. 27. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date on March 14 at 9 a.m.

Jody L. Nega, 29, of 285 Crestview Drive ‐ Unit B, Wauconda,  was arrested for DUI and speeding at Route 14 and Glendale Ave., Feb. 1. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of March 14 at 9 a.m.

On Feb. 1, Ivana E. Dykas,  42, of 37 Graystone Ct., Barrington, was arrested for DUI, expired driver’s license, improper lane usage and speeding at Route 14 and Route 59. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 28 at 9 a.m.

Michael J. Aussem, 25, of 321 W. Elm St., Sycamore, was arrested for DUI, no front plate, no driver’s license on person and open alcohol at Northwest Hwy. and Hough St., Feb. 3. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 21 at 9 a.m.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

On Jan. 26, Carlos Silverio, 22, of 1213 King Court ‐ #37, West Chicago, was arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license and suspended registration at Hough St. and Lake Cook Rd. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of March 14 at 9 a.m.
