Police Blotter: Holiday Lights Cord Cut, Teen Arrests

Taken from this week's Barrington police reports.

 

THEFT

On Dec. 11,  police responded to a report of a retail theft at the CVS Pharmacy, located at 101 South Northwest Highway. A male subject was observed concealing three boxes of aspirin on his person, then fled the store on foot when employees called police.

TRAFFIC OFFENSES

On Dec. 12,  Asuncion Lopez‐Peredo, age 25, of 310 Main St., Wauconda,  was arrested for no valid driver’s license, disobeyed traffic signal, expired registration and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after being involved in an accident at Northwest Hwy. and Route 59.He  was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Dec. 30.

On Dec. 19,  Grant A. Terrill, age 19, of 419 Caesar Drive, Barrington Hills,  was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while registration expired, possession of an invalid driver’s license and driving with no valid driver’s license. He was given Cook County court date of Feb. 10.

TEEN WITH DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

A 17 yr. old female from Lake Barrington was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at 616 W. Main St., Dec. 12.  She was released and issued a Cook County court date of Jan. 27..

TEEN ARRESTED FOR BATTERY

A 15 yr. old female from Barrington was arrested for battery at 616 W. Main St., Dec. 13. She was released and issued a Cook County court date of Jan. 27.

 

TEEN ARRESTED FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT

A 14 year old male juvenile and two 15 year old male juveniles were arrested for disorderly conduct, Dec. 14, at 616 W. Main St., Barrington High School. They were released and given a Cook County court date of Jan. 27.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

On. Dec. 18,  Daniel W. Weilgos, age 20, of 505 S. Madison Ave., LaGrange, IL was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol at Berry Rd. west of Northwest Hwy. The subject was released and given a Cook county court date of Feb. 10.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

On Dec. 15, Ronald A. Nanstiel, age 24, of 4025 Springlake, Lake In The Hills, was arrested for criminal trespass to railroad property at 201 Spring St. He was released and given a Cook county court date of Jan. 13.

FRAUD

On Dec. 17,  a fraud report was taken regarding payment for a painting job at a residence in the 400 block of Waverly Road.

HOLIDAY LIGHTS CUT

A resident in the 1200 block of Lake Shore Drive North reported the extension cord to the outside holiday lights had been cut, on Dec. 17.
