Police Blotter: Identity Thief Opens Fraudulent AT&T Account

Taken from this week's Barrington police reports.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

On Feb. 8, a 16-year- old male from Barrington was charged with disorderly conduct at 235 Lions Dr. He was released and given a Cook County court date of March 12.

FRAUD

On Feb. 14, a resident in the 200 block of Eastern Avenue reported that unknown persons used his social security number and identity to open an AT&T account.

A resident of the 800 block of Georgetowne Lane reported, on Feb. 18, a debit card account was used by unknown person(s) in another state.

 

STOLEN KEYS

A set of keys was reported stolen from the Kids In Action gym, located at 200 North Hough Street, on FEB. 14

ZERO TOLERANCE

On Feb. 16, Brett Qualiardi, age 18, of 135 Palm Dr., Barrington, was arrested for consumption of alcohol by minor, zero tolerance, disobeyed traffic signal, driving without headlights and driver’s license not on person at Hough and Main streets. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of March 19.

PHONE HARASSMENT

A resident in the 700 block of Bryant Avenue reported, on Feb. 16,  being harassed via telephone.

THREAT

A report was taken, Feb. 17, for a threat made by an ex-employee of a business at 522 South Northwest Highway against the owner.

GRAFFITI DAMAGE

A resident of the 200 block of Applebee Street reported damage to siding when graffiti was painted on the garage, Feb. 18.
