Police Blotter: MIcrophones Stolen From Church, Graffiti at School

GRAFFITI, PROPERTY DAMAGE

On Jan. 8, police took a report of a home that was egged in the 100 block of Kainer Avenue, some time overnight.  

Graffiti was reported on the sidewalk at Roslyn Road School, located at 224 Roslyn Rd., Jan. 10.

THEFT

On Jan. 9,  a resident in the 100 block of Waverly Road reported a theft of a UPS package.

A box trailer was reported stolen from the parking lot of Gonstead Seminar, located at 800 S. Northwest Highway, Jan. 9.  

On Jan. 10,  Lutheran Church of the Atonement, located at 909 E. Main St., reported a theft of three Technica microphones from its sanctuary.  

On Jan. 14, a wallet and contents were removed from a purse at an undetermined location in Barrington.

 

PHONE HARASSMENT

A phone harassment report was taken in the 200 block of W. Northwest Highway, Jan. 9.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

On Jan. 10, a 16-year-old male from Barrington, was charged with disorderly conduct at 616 W. Main St. He was released and given a Cook County court date of Jan. 27.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

 Police responded to a Criminal Trespass to Property complaint at Pepsico, located at 617 W. Main St., Jan. 10, when a male subject was escorted off the property by security. No criminal complaint was signed and the man left without incident.  

TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS

 On Jan. 11, Isaac Nolazco, age 36, of 1518 Pawnee Rd., Carpentersville, was arrested for no valid driver’s license, no insurance and defective vehicle suspension system after causing an accident at Route 14 and Cumnor Ave. He  was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Feb. 10.
