Police Blotter: Minor Offenses, Purse Stolen From Car

Reports from the Barrington Police Department.

Aug. 24: A 16-year-old male from Inverness was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor at Barrington High School. The subject was released and given an adjudication hearing date of Sept. 20, 2012 at 4 p.m.

Aug. 26: A 15-year-old old male from South Barrington and a 16-year-old male from North Barrington were charged with a curfew violation at 600 Hart Rd. The boys were released and given an adjudication hearing date of Sept. 20, 2012 at 4: p.m.

Aug. 26: Jack G. Sheetz, age 20, of Crooked Lane, North Barrington, IL was charged with underage consumption of alcohol at Hart Road and Main Street. The subject was released and given a Cook County court date of Sept. 19, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Aug. 27: Son Tran Nguyen, age 21, of West Sunnyside, Chicago, IL was charged with possession of cannabis at 1420 S. Barrington Rd. The subject was released and given a Cook County court date of Sept. 19, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Aug. 27: A purse was taken from a vehicle while parked in the lot at the Barrington Library, 505 North Northwest Highway. A window was broken out to gain entry.

Aug. 27: The front license plate was removed from a vehicle while parked in the lot at 1420 South Barrington Road.

Aug. 28: An exterior garage light was damaged in the 1000 block of Oakland Drive.

Aug: 31: A resident of the 100 block of West Hillside Avenue reported the theft of two planters from the front yard.

Aug. 31: Police took a report for a lost wallet at the train station, 201 Spring Street.
