Police Blotter: Shoplifting Reported at Angelina's

Reports from the Barrington Police Department.

 DUI

Michael J. Wyszynski, 43 of Port Barrington, was arrested for DUI, speeding and improper lane usage on April 9. His court date is May 20.

Suzanne Giampa, 46, of Tower Lakes, was arrested on April 13 for DUI, no insurance and improper lane usage. Her court date is May 20.

Walter J. Goehausen, 64, of Barrington Hills, was arrested for DUI, no insurance, improper lane usage, improper turn, failure to signal and no front plate on April 21. He will appear in court on May 20.

Driving on Revoked License

Elgin resident Gustavo Garcia, 23, was arrested on April 12 for driving on a revoked license. Garcia’s court date is scheduled for June 10.

Retail Theft

Carol M. Weisz, 52, of Kildeer, was arrested on April 15 for retail theft at Angelina’s, 200 S. Cook Street. She was released on bond and given a May 31 court date.

Possession of Drugs

Naim F. Abu-Maizer, 18, of Hoffman Estates, was arrested for possession of cannabis and criminal trespassing at Barrington High School on April 15. His court date is June 3.

Violation of an Order of Protection

Anthony T. Jones, 37, of 215 Skyline Drive, was arrested on April 17 for violation of an order of protection at his address. His court date is May 16.

Domestic Battery

David Campos, 29, of 520 E. Main Street, was arrested for domestic battery at his home. He was transported to Lake County for bond call.

No Valid Driver’s License

Teofila Martinez-Velazquez, 34, of Fox River Grove, was arrested for driving without a license and improper parking on the roadway at Route 14 and Route 59 on April 23. Her court date is set for May 20.

Rolling Meadows resident Eluteria Pineda, 42, was arrested on April 24 for driving without a license, speeding and driving without insurance. She will appear in court on June 3.

Stolen Property

A rock breaking machine valued at $11,000 was reportedly stolen from a construction site at Hough and Applebee Streets on April 26.

A nail gun and cigarettes valued at $350 were stolen from a car parked on the 100 block of Tower Road on May 1.

Criminal Damage

On April 27, police responded to Citizens Park, where a suspect shot pellets at a parked car, breaking one window and damaging a side panel. The cost of repairs is unknown. The suspect was not located by police.

Burglary

A resident of the 300 block of South Cook Street reported a game console and bottles of alcohol were stolen from an unlocked pool house on April 29.
