Police Blotter: Snow Tows and Felony Arrest

Threats

A manager at CVS, 101 South Northwest Highway, reported that an employee was verbally aggressive, arguing and making threats on Jan. 18. 

A resident in the 600 block of South Cook Street reported receiving a threat on Facebook from a former colleague, Jan. 18.

Snow Leads to Tow

Several vehicles were towed, after attempts were made to contact the owners, for snow removal, Jan. 20

Fraud

A resident in the 500 block of Elm Street reported unknown person(s) attempted to cash checks in their name and account number, Jan. 20.

 Felony Domestic Battery

Brian C. McPike, age 48, of 287 Beverly Rd., Barrington,  was arrested for Felony Domestic Battery at the above address. The subject was taken to Lake County bond call and issued a $50,000/C bond. The next court date is Jan. 31.
