Police Blotter: Teen Drug Arrest, Rock Thrown Through Restaurant Window

Reports from the Barrington Police Department.

No Valid Driver’s License:

A 17-year-old Barrington boy was arrested July 29 at Eastern Avenue and Main Street on charges of driving without a valid license and no front registration plate. His Cook County court date is Sept. 19.

Carlos Grajeles-Cruz, 28, of Palatine, was arrested Aug. 4 after being involved in an accident at Route 14 and Hart Road. He was charged with no valid driver’s license and failure to reduce speed. His Cook County court date is Sept. 12

Possession of Cannabis and Tobacco:

A 15-year-old Barrington boy was arrested July 29 on Castle Court on charges of possession of cannabis and possession of tobacco. The boy was given a Cook County court date of Sept. 19.

Stolen Property:

A bicycle parked at 340 Lageschulte St. was stolen July 31 while the owner was working. The bicycle’s value was estimated at $400.

Two steel bench seats were taken at Hough Street School, 310 S. Hough St., on Aug. 3. The value of the bench seats is $250.

Trespassing:

Mount Prospect residents Maxwell R. Weigel, 23, and Emily A. Frisbie, 22, were charged with trespassing on railroad property at CN Railroad, north of Main Street, on Aug. 1. They will appear in Cook County court on Aug. 16.

Damaged Property:

On Aug. 2, a large rock was thrown through a window at , 712 S. Northwest Highway. Damage was estimated at $1,300.

A rock was thrown through the rear window of a vehicle parked in a driveway on the 700 block of Skyline Drive on Aug. 3.

Felony Driving While License Revoked:

Alfredo Perez, 60, of Tennessee, was arrested Aug. 3 on charges of felony driving while license revoked, a Cook County warrant for DUI, no insurance, and illegal parking at 500 W. Northwest Highway. Perez was taken to Lake County bond call and was given a $50,000/D bond.
