Police Blotter: Teen Offenses, Domestic Battery

Leaving the Scene of an Accident:

Yvonne A. Zaragoza, 18, of South Elgin, was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give information and failure to report an accident on March 24. She was involved in an accident at 100 W. Northwest Highway. She was released and given a Cook County court date of April 26.

Erin L. Hunt, 22, of Cary, was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage, disregarding a traffic control device and improper use of signal at Route 14 and Ela Road on March 24. She was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of May 9.

Richard J. Larson, 46, of the 400 block of Oakwood Drive, was arrested for DUI, speeding, improper lane usage, improper use of signal, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and failure to wear a seatbelt at Main Street and Valley Road on March 25. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of May 9.

Michael A. Zakrzewski, 24, of the 22000 block of Brookside Way, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage at Sycamore and Elm Road on March 25. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of April 26.

Kary E. Calabrese, 38, of Lake Zurich, was arrested for DUI and improper turn at Applebee Street and Main Street on March 26. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of May 9.

Driving Without a Valid License:

Cleofas Rincon-Valdon, 46 of Palatine, was arrested for driving with no valid license and speeding at Route 14 near Makray Golf Course. He was released and given a Cook County court date of April 26.

Stolen Gas:

The Mobil gas station at 504 East Main Street reported a vehicle pumped $72.21 in gasoline on March 29 and left without paying.

Damaged Vehicle:

On March 29, a resident of the 300 block of Eastern Avenue reported the front driver’s side window of his vehicle was damaged while parked on the street

Teen Offenses:

Three teens were charged with various offenses on March 30 at Eastern Avenue and Route 14. A 17-year-old Barrington was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol by a minor. A 16-year-old Fox River Grove boy was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor. A 15-year-old Barrington girl was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor and curfew violation. They all have Cook County court dates of May 9.

Domestic Battery:

Dejuan R. Williams, 25, of the 200 block of Dundee Avenue, was arrested for domestic battery on March 31. He was taken into custody and held to await Cook County bond call.
