Police Blotter: Teens Charged for Trespassing

Reports from the Barrington Police Department.

Trespassing:

Michael T. Kunz, 18, of Deer Park, was arrested on April 9 for trespassing on railroad property. It happened at the CN Railroad by the Icehouse Mall. He was released and given a Cook County court date of May 30. Three other boys were also charged with trespassing during the incident and were given the same court date of May 30.

A 16-year-old Barrington girl and a 16-year-old North Barrington girl were charged with trespassing on railroad property near Harrison Street and Applebee Street on April 13. They were released and given a Cook County court date of May 9.

Stolen Property:

A bicycle valued at $400 was reported stolen from the Metra train station at 201 South Spring Street on April 9.

A wallet was taken out of a shopper’s purse at Jewel-Osco on April 14.

Driving on a Suspended License:

Ammunnouel S. Varda, of Elm Road in Barrington, was arrested for driving on a suspended license, no insurance and expired registration at Route 14 and Shorely. The incident happened on April 11. He was released and given a Cook County court date of April 26.

Damaged Property:

Property was damaged in the 100 block of Hilltop Avenue on April 14. Bushes were pulled out of the ground and planters were overturned.

A rock was thrown through the rear window of a vehicle in the 800 block of Meadow Lane while parked in the driveway on April 15.
