Police Blotter: Underage Drinking, Fake Identification Arrests

Reports from the Barrington Police Department.

No Valid Driver’s License:

Rafael M. Cruz, 32, of Streamwood, was arrested on Sept. 2 for driving without a valid license, no insurance and improper passing at Hough St. and Main St. His Cook County court date is set for Sept. 19.

Douydas Mazeika, 18, of Lake Barrington, was arrested on Sept. 2 for consumption of alcohol by a minor at Barrington High School. His Cook County court date is scheduled for Oct. 14.

Diana Herrera, 20, of Hanover Park, was arrested for consumption of alcohol by a minor on Sept. 4 at Hilltop Ave. and Main St. She was released and given a court date of Oct. 21.

Martin Fitz, 20, of Hanover Park, was arrested on Sept. 4 for underage drinking, failure to give information, improper lane usage and failure to report an accident after being involved in one at Main St. and Hough St. He was released and given a Cook County court date of Oct. 21.

Driving on a Suspended License:

Jose Paniagua, 35, of Elgin, was arrested on Sept. 6 for driving on a suspended license, failure to yield, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after being involved in one at 541 Hough St. His court date is scheduled for Sept. 30.

Unlawful Possession of Fake Identification:

Stephanie J. Bodkin, 36, of Chicago, was arrested on Sept. 6 for unlawful possession of a fictitious identification card at 316 W. Northwest Highway. Her Lake County court date is set for Sept. 23.

Graffiti Damage:

Mona Lisa Stone and Tile, Inc., 119 E. Main St., reported graffiti on the rear door of the business on Sept. 6.

Possession of Tobacco:

Two 15-year-old Barrington boys were charged with possession of tobacco by a minor at Barrington High School on Sept. 9.

Theft:

A book bag and calculator valued at $180.00 were taken from the Barrington High School gym locker room on Sept. 10.
