Police Blotter: Windows Broken, Construction Burglary

PROPERTY DAMAGE
On Dec. 25, a window was reported damaged on a business in the 200 block of South Northwest Highway.

Also on Dec. 25, a resident in the 600 block of Bryant Avenue reported the driver’s side window on a vehicle broken.

Highway, Dec. 26.
The rearview mirror was reported broken off a vehicle in the 200 Monument Ave., Dec. 26
Another rearview mirror was reported broken on a vehicle in the 200 block of Maple Rd., Dec. 27.
An outdoor, wooden nativity scene was reported as damaged in the 1400 block of South Barrington Road, Dec. 27.
Lights near the entrance to the “Oaks of Barrington” subdivision were reported
damaged, at East Dundee Road and Columbia Lane on Dec. 27.
On Dec. 28, the windows on a vehicle parked behind Clarke’s Deli, located at 455 West Northwest
Highway, were reported broken, some time in the morning hours.
A window was reported broken on a vehicle in the 300 block of South Dundee Ave., Dec. 28.
On Dec. 31, the front passenger window of a vehicle was discovered broken while parked in the lot
at 1205 South Northwest Highway.
ABANDONED VEHICLE
On Dec. 27, police responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle in the 100 block of Tall Trees Circle. The vehicle was affixed with a 7‐day tow sticker and notification is pending to the registered owner.
BURGLARY/THEFT
On Dec. 28, a home under construction, located in the 400 block of Fox Glove Lane was burglarized.
A box of fuses and a fire extinguisher were reported stolen, on Dec. 28, from a vehicle in the 300 block of South Hager Avenue, sometime over the past month.
SEXUAL ASSAULT REPORT
On Dec. 28, a report was taken for Criminal Sexual Assault of a Minor that occurred sometime in June 2011.
DOMESTIC BATTERY
On Dec. 26, Christine M. Ablin, age 44, of 908 Hampstead Court, Barrington, was arrested for domestic battery at her home address. The subject was taken to Lake County bond call and issued a $1000/ D‐bond.
