Police Still Searching for St. Anne School Burglar

Barrington police are still waiting on forensic evidence to be processed at the Illinois State Crime Lab.

Barrington Police are still searching for the suspect who burglarized St. Anne School in October.

The incident occurred on Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. Police say the suspect stole cash and gift cards from the school principal's office and caused considerable damage to the school offices.

"When they processed the crime scene they did recover some finger prints and foresnic evidence," Detective Sgt. Kevin Croke said. Croke explained that forensic evidence for burglaries could take up to a year for the state crime lab to process.

The video security system captured video of the suspect in the building. Police are asking all community members to watch the video to the right of this article. If you have information on the subject's identity, contact the Police Records or dispatch center at 847-304-3300. Please do not contact the school with information.
