Police said three alleged gang members are in custody over accusations that they shot a 26-year-old man in his girlfriend's Wauconda apartment following an argument Sunday night, according to the Daily Herald.
John A. Nava, 19, of Niles; Noe J. Brito-Ramirez, 22, of Crystal Lake; and Jose A. Dominquez-Eleperez, 26, of Wheeling, are charged with four counts of home invasion, and a single count of aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated battery of a firearm, according to the article.
In addition, Dominquez-Eleperez faces an attempted murder charge for accusations that he fire the gun and the victim around 8:30 p.m. at the apartment in the 100 block of Main Street, the Daily Herald reports.
