Tree Illegally Removed, Bush Burnt: Police Blotter

Drug Paraphernalia

Meghan M. Tyrell, 18, of 275 Melrose Lane, Lakewood, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at 511 Lake Zurich Rd., May 10. She was released on bond and given a Lake County court date of June 4.

Theft from Car

An iPad was stolen from the front seat of an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of Lake Shore Drive North, May 10.

Deceptive Practice

A deceptive practice report was taken, May 10,  when a resident in the 200 block of Bellingham Drive received a fraudulent check from an unknown subject wanting to purchase items listed on craigslist.

Attempted Burglary

An attempted burglary was reported, in the 300 block of Fox Hunt Trail, May 10, when residents returned home to find damage to the rear French door to the residence.

Burning Bush

Police assisted the fire department when the bushes in front of a home, in the 900 block of Georgetowne Lane, were set on fire by unknown person(s), May 6.

Tree Removed

A criminal damage to property report was taken, May 6,  when unknown person(s) ordered a tree to be removed from a property in the 200 block of North Hager Avenue. The person was not the property owner.

Dog at Large

Julie A. McPike, age 51, of 287 Beverly Rd., Barrington, was charged with dog at large and permitting a dog to snap/growl/ jump on victim on public roadway at the above address, May 7. The subject was released and given a Cook County court date of June 7, 2013 at 9:00am.
