Barrington to Help Fund Senior Bus Service

Barrington will join five other villages and two townships in paying for a Pace Dial-A-Ride service for senior and handicapped riders—a $100,000-program that has been funded over the past five years by the village of Lake Barrington, Barrington and Cuba townships and riders, according to the Daily Herald.

Barrington trustees voted on Monday to split the cost and pay $6,250 each year for the services, which is the same as Lake Barrington since it was determined that both villages have just over 1,000 riders each year, according to the article.
