Blago Verdict: Guilty on 17 Counts

The Chicago Tribune reports that a federal jury convicted Rod Blagojevich of corruption.

Rod Blagojevich has been found guilty on 17 of 20 corruption charges, according to the Chicago Tribune. The jury deadlocked on two counts and found Blagojevich not guilty of one count.

After listening to six weeks of testimony, including seven days during which Blagojevich testified, jurors returned their verdict Monday afternoon.

The jury of 11 women and one man had deliberated for nine days.
